Questions I want foothills buyers to ask early
Is the home on a well or an onsite wastewater treatment system? Who maintains the access road? What is the insurance cost and wildfire exposure? Will an unusual home need additional appraisal documentation? These details can influence the financing timeline and your full cost of ownership.
Common financing options
Conventional mortgages, FHA-insured loans, VA-guaranteed loans for eligible borrowers, jumbo financing, renovation financing and other specialty options may be worth exploring. Every option has different terms, property requirements and eligibility standards.
